本日はＪＲ桜木町駅近くの「ぴおシティ」での開催です。
本日も総勢２２名（うち、ゲスト４名）で会場内は ほぼ満席の盛況ぶりです。
１４時に、プレジデントMさんの号令で会がスタートしました。
Today’s meeting is being held at Pio City near JR Sakuragicho Station.
Today, there are 22 participants (including 4 guests), and the venue is almost full.
At 2:00 p.m., President M gave the signal to start the meeting.
本日の言葉はOさんより発表された「robuse(robustly)」です。
「strong」に近い言葉なので使いやすいかな…？
Today’s Word ot the day is “robuse (robustly)” submitted by TM.O.
It’s similar to “strong,” So it might be easy to use, mightn’t it?
本日の司会（TMOD=Toast Master Of the Day）はNさんです。
ミーティングのお題は、「お盆の週は何をしていましたか？」です。皆さんはどのようにお盆を過ごされていたのでしょうか。
Today’s toastmaster (TMOD) is TM.N.
The topic of today’s meeting is “What did you do in this OBON week?” How did everyone spend their Obon holiday?
次に最初のセッションは即興スピーチ（テーブルトピック）が始まりました。
テーブルトピックマスターは、Sさん。
Sさんは次回のコンテストでテーブルトピックが実施されるので、その訓練ということで
過去にコンテストで出題されたものをお題にされました。
・日本の総理になったら何をする？
・世界のルールを変えられるなら、何を変える？
・なにを愛しますか？
などでした。
Next, the first session, which was an impromptu speech segment (Table Topic Session), began. The Table Topics Master was TM.S. Since Table Topic Session will be included in the next contest, TM S. used this session as practice by choosing topics that had been used in past contests, such as:
・What would you do if you became Japan’s Prime Minister?
・If you could change one rule in the world, what would it be?
・What do you love? etc
そして次のコーナーは準備スピーチ
本日は４人のスピーカーが登壇しました。
１人目はFさん。今日がスピーチデビューです。自分のこれまでの歩みを映画に例えて熱く語りました。
２人目はAさん。長年されている空手で、厳島大会でのミーティング内容をワイングラス込みで再現されていました。
３人目はKさん。職場でご自分のチームのモチベーションをどのように維持されているか、ＰＣ画面を共有してのスピーチでした。
４人目はMさん。ご自身の推し活について、ＰＣで写真と音声も共有することで更に熱い想いが伝わりました。
Next was the Prepared Speech segment. Today, four speakers took the stage.
The first speaker, TM.F made their speech debut today. She passionately likened their personal journey to a movie.
The second speaker, TM.A, recreated a scene from a meeting at the Itsukushima tournament, connected to their long-standing practice of karate—complete with a wine glass!
The third speaker, TM.K gave a speech sharing how they keep their team’s motivation high at work, using screen sharing to enhance his presentation.
The fourth speaker, TM.M shared her enthusiasm for her “oshi” activities by incorporating photos and audio via PC, making her passion all the more compelling.
休憩を挟み、評価のコーナーです。
評価の総合司会はOさん。お盆に帰省されたときにデカいマッシュルームを見つけたそうです。
写真をみると本当にデカい。でも猛毒らしいので皆さんキノコを食べるときは注意しましょうね。
次に登壇した４人の評価者は各準備スピーカーの長所と改善点をユーモアを交えながら発表されました。
After a break, it was time for the evaluation corner.
Today’s General Evaluater was TM.O. He said he found a huge mushroom when he went back to his hometown during Obon.
Looking at the photo, it really is huge. But it seems to be highly poisonous, so everyone should be careful when eating mushrooms!
Next, the four evaluators took the stage and presented the strengths and areas for improvement of each speaker with a touch of humor.
