第626回YTMC例会
8月20日（土）14時～16時　＠波止場会館

今回は７名のゲスト参加、そして新たにHさんとYさんが正式メンバーに加わり、
いつも以上にフレッシュな雰囲気で例会が行われました。

例会のテーマは、
“What’s your favorite weapon to beat the summer heat?”
みなさんユニークな回答でグッジョブ！（下部に掲載）

今回は特別にFさんによる「即興スピーチのコツ」のプレゼンテーションがありました。
役立つ内容もさることながら、ユーモアや動きのある魅力的なスピーチはさすがでした。
次回のインハウスコンテンストスピーチ）」なので、出場者のみなさんは是非参考にしてもらえればと思います。

準備スピーチは４名。 全員１年以内入会のフレッシュなメンバーでしたが、
ベストスピーカーのNさんはじめ、みなさん個性的で興味深いスピーチでした。

３回目のTMOD（Toast of the day: 進行役）でしたが、
今回もメンバーみなさんのご協力のありがたみを実感した例会でした。

The meeting#626 was held on Aug 20th at Hatoba kaikan.
7 guests attended the meeting and 2 new member joind YTMC!

TM F gave us the special presentation.
“Better Speaker Series: Impromptu Speaking”
It was very informative speech with humor, and I’m sure it’ll help us to make impromptu speech.
Especially for contestants on next Inhouse Contest! (Table topic speech contest)

There were 4 prepared speeches.
and they were all unique and interesting.

“The Best Friends ; Unconditional Love” by TM N (Best Speaker!)
” I have nothing to talk” by TM S

As TMOD, I’m very grateful for every member’s support.
Everytime I take this role, I realize that member’s support is momentous.

#Meeting theme
“What’s your favorite weapon to beat the summer heat?”

“Hiyasi-Chuka! I think it’s the best food in summer!”

” My weapon is Shaved Ice!”

“My favorite weapon to beat summer heat is eating cooling fruit such as watermelon
and yogurt or the combination of them.Also, I drink lots of water during summer.”

“Mojito!!”

“It is to eat cooled fruits like pears, grapes or watermelon
in the room without air conditioner.”

“My favorite weapon to beat the summer heat is the Ocean.
I love to swim and I was in Shikoku recently enjoying the cool ocean in the Shima-Nami-Kaido area!”

“Listen to Hawaiian?music on the?balcony at night.”

“To keep my body cool with my portable bottle with green tea!”

“What I usually do is to go the gym and sweat a lot. In addition to the exercise, I like sweating in the sauna.
Sweating a lot and then taking a shower afterword make me refreshing.”

“My favorite provision to beat the summer heat is “ume or prum-syrup” that I make late June every year.
The whole process of making the syrop is so much fun and it starts from picking riped prums from the yard.
During the process, the soothing sweet-sour scent fills the kitchen and it makes me so happy.
As soon as I come home worn out by the severe summer heat outside,
I rush to the frigde and drink a glass of prum juice. Then I come to life.
I cannot live without it in high summer.”

“My favorite weapon is “To go to the place where it’s cooler than here.”

What a hot day! So as our meeting #625 was filled with passion. We had 22 active members with 3 guests and most of us went to after meeting party at Zou-no-hana Café for cool drinks.
The main theme of today’s meeting was “intuition” in Japanese “Chokkan”.
By incorporating intuition in speech making process, we are able to come up with more possible solutions to solve problems.　

In Table Topic Session, Table Topic Master give us topics to talk about without advance notice. Everytime, we practice to deliver a speech instantly. There is no right or wrong answers for the question. The only rule is to deliver your messages in which you believe and to share with others. And it is our intuition that makes our speech different.

Conglaturation for those of who won the Best Table Topic, Evaluator and Speaker. And the most of all, thank you for all members coming to meeting with a high sense of motivation and sharing an inspiring moment together.
