This week’s meeting gathered 19 members and two guests, filling the room with energy, laughter, and fresh ideas.
The theme chosen by our Toastmaster of the Day, TM RS, was “Your Favorite Entertainment.” From music to
sports, movies to books, members shared personal favorites, sparking lively conversations and smiles.

今週の例会には19名の会員と2名のゲストが参加し、エネルギーと笑い、そして新しいアイデアにあふれる時間と
なりました。今夜のトーストマスター・オブ・ザ・デイ(TMOD)、RSさんが選んだテーマは「お気に入りのエ
ンターテインメント」。音楽からスポーツ、映画や本まで、メンバーがそれぞれのお気に入りを共有し、会場には
活気と笑顔が広がりました。
A special highlight was the induction ceremony of our new member, warmly welcomed into the club family. With
encouraging words from senior members and a promise to support their journey, the ceremony reminded us all of
how Toastmasters provides a stage for growth and friendship.
特に印象的だったのは、新しい仲間を迎える入会式です。先輩メンバーからの温かい励ましの言葉と、これからの
成長を支える約束に包まれ、新会員はクラブファミリーの一員として迎えられました。トーストマスターズが「学
びの場」であると同時に「友情の場」であることを改めて思い出させてくれる瞬間でした。
The Table Topics session by TM HS followed with the theme “Look Back News/Events.” Participants had the
chance to reflect on recent happenings in a spontaneous and thoughtful way. Three volunteers courageously
stepped forward to respond, each offering unique perspectives. TM YI shared her relaxing pastime with watching
fireworks show on TV. TM NM shared her unforgettable music live experience. TM NS shared the most tough
negotiation experience in his business life. It was a short session, but one that showcased the quick-thinking skills
we all strive to build.

The heart of the meeting was the Prepared Speeches segment, featuring four speakers. Each speaker brought
something distinct. TM AT explained his family members in a way like a team member in a certain organization. TM
HA shared a nightmare story in the hotel when she went a family summer trip just a few weeks ago. TM TU inspired
us with lessons he learned from a recent challenge in a voluntary site in Kesennuma city which suffered the
disaster in 2011. The final speaker TM TS looked back a turning point in her life humorously and how much she
lives with her husband happily now. The variety of styles demonstrated the richness of Toastmasters learning.

バーのように紹介し、ユニークな切り口で楽しませてくれました。HAさんは夏の家族旅行で体験したホテルでの
悪夢を、ユーモアを交えて語りました。TUさんは2011年の震災で被災した気仙沼でのボランティア活動を通じて
学んだ教訓を共有し、私たちを深く考えさせてくれました。最後にTSさんは、人生の転機を振り返りつつ、夫と
の幸せな日々をユーモラスに語り、温かい笑いを誘いました。バラエティ豊かなスピーチが、学びの場としての
トーストマスターズの魅力を際立たせていました。
Evaluations were equally strong, offering constructive suggestions and warm encouragement. Members
appreciated the balance of feedback—highlighting strengths while pointing out areas for refinement. It was another
reminder that growth comes through supportive critique.
評価セッションも充実しており、メンバーはスピーカーの強みを称えつつ改善点を丁寧に指摘しました。成長を支
えるのは建設的なフィードバックだと実感できる時間でした。
Throughout the evening, the atmosphere was engaging yet relaxed. Guests mentioned afterward that they felt at
home and impressed by how well the meeting blended structure with fun.
In closing, the meeting theme “Your Favorite Entertainment” reflected perfectly in our activities: a mix of learning,
laughter, and community spirit. With new members joining and a full lineup of speakers, our club continues to thrive
as a place where everyone can practice, grow, and be entertained in the best sense of the word.
終始、会場の雰囲気は和やかで心地よく、ゲストからは「とても居心地がよかった」「楽しく学べる会だと感じ
た」との感想が寄せられました。
最後に、今夜のテーマ「お気に入りのエンターテインメント」は、学び・笑い・仲間の絆という形でしっかりと表
現されていました。新しい仲間の加入、そして充実したスピーチの数々により、私たちのクラブはこれからも「学
び、成長し、そして楽しむ場」としてますます発展していくことでしょう。
