た。本日のトーストマスターはTM Aです。経験豊富で、進め方に安心感があります。24
名の会員と2名のゲストが参加しました。
プレジデントは、アイスブレークとして小説を紹介しました。「決してデジタル化できな
い本」だそうです。
Sさんが新メンバーとなることが発表され、入会セレモニーが行われました。メンターは
TM Oと発表されました。

即興スピーチ
Table Topics MasterはTM T。6月1日はYokohama Toastmasters Clubの誕生日だそうです。
テーマは「YTMC」。
Q1：横浜トーストマスターズで、記憶に残る会議は？
A1： プレジデントを引き受けたときや、コンテストに参加し、勝たなければいけないプ
レッシャーを感じたとき。
Q2：YTMCの最初の印象は？
A2： よく組織されていると感じた。歴史とメンバーの努力によるものだと思った。
Q3：YTMCのプレジデントになったら、どうしますか？
A3： YTMCの雰囲気を保ちたい。また、外国人メンバーを増やしたい。
Q4：子供にYTMCをどう説明するか？
A4： 自分の子供がすでにYTMCを理解しているので、参加するように誘いたい。
Q5：YTMCの今季を振り返って評価してください。
A5： 楽しめて、参加しやすく、失敗してもよい雰囲気を保てたと思う。

。

日本人の宗教観や考え方について向き合ったスピーチでした
。Compassion、Courage、Respectが日本の魂である、というメッセージでした。
3rd Speaker TM T
Direct Communication: Its Virtue and Vice
子供の頃に体験した海外生活や、会社でのコミュニケーションなど、自身のコミュニケー
ションスタイルに関するスピーチでした。
4th Speaker TM O
Impromptu Speech
2つの即興スピーチを行うプロジェクトでした。
1つ目は、先輩への弔辞を述べるというお題で、先輩との強烈な思い出について語りまし
た。
2つ目は、災害シェルターで疲れ果てたメンバーに対し、リーダーとして話をするという
お題でした。自身の強烈な失敗談を語ることで、メンバーを勇気づけました。
論評
全体論評はTM Sが担当しました。
1st Evaluator TM I
ジョークを交えながらも、的確な論評だと感じました。
2nd Evaluator TM T
スピーカーをよく観察した結果による論評だと感じました。
3rd Evaluator TM O
全体的には興味深い話であったが、一つのストーリーに絞って丁寧に説明し、そのときに
どう感じたかを加えることを提案していました。
4th Evaluator TM T
強烈なコメントを述べつつ、最後は本質的な論評を行うところが印象的でした。
TM Sからは全体論評が述べられました。また、各論評者へのフィードバックも行われまし
た。

今回も非常に笑いと学びの多い例会となりました。
This was the first meeting of June. The weather was sunny, and the breeze was cooler than
expected, making for a very pleasant day. The Toastmaster of the Day was TM A. With
extensive experience, TM A led the meeting smoothly and confidently. A total of 24
members and 2 guests attended.
As an icebreaker, the President introduced a novel, describing it as “a book that can never
be digitized.”
It was also announced that S had joined the club as a new member, and an induction
ceremony was held. TM O was introduced as S's mentor.
The Word of the Day was “Adaptive.”
Table Topics Session
The Table Topics Master was TM T. We learned that June 1 is the anniversary of Yokohama
Toastmasters Club. The theme of the session was “YTMC.”
Q1: What meeting at Yokohama Toastmasters do you remember most?
A1: The time I accepted the role of President, and when I participated in a contest and felt
the pressure of having to win.
Q2: What was your first impression of YTMC?
A2: I felt that the club was very well organized. I believe this is the result of its long history
and the efforts of its members.
Q3: What would you do if you became President of YTMC?
A3: I would like to preserve the club’s atmosphere and attract more international members.
Q4: How would you explain YTMC to your child?
A4: My child already understands what YTMC is, so I would encourage them to participate.
Q5: How would you evaluate this season of YTMC?
A5: I believe we maintained an enjoyable and welcoming atmosphere where members felt
comfortable participating and making mistakes.
Q6: If you could change the meeting format, what would you do?
A6: I think adding a Joke Session would be a good idea.

The speaker delivered a message that human beings are capable of continuously
examining issues from many different perspectives.
2nd Speaker: TM Q
The Soul of Japan (Revised)
This speech explored Japanese religious beliefs and ways of thinking. The speaker's
message was that Compassion, Courage, and Respect form the soul of Japan.
3rd Speaker: TM T
Direct Communication: Its Virtue and Vice
The speaker shared experiences from living overseas during childhood and communicating
in the workplace, reflecting on his own communication style.
4th Speaker: TM O
Impromptu Speech
This project consisted of delivering two impromptu speeches.
In the first speech, the speaker was asked to deliver a eulogy for a senior colleague and
spoke about a powerful memory of that person.
In the second speech, the speaker was asked to play the role of a leader addressing
exhausted members in a disaster shelter. By sharing a significant personal failure, the
speaker encouraged and inspired the audience.
Evaluations

1st Evaluator: TM I
The evaluation was accurate and insightful, while also incorporating humor.
2nd Evaluator: TM T
The evaluator appeared to have carefully observed the speaker and provided thoughtful
feedback.
3rd Evaluator: TM O
The evaluator commented that the speech was interesting overall, but suggested focusing
on a single story, explaining it thoroughly, and describing the emotions experienced during
that event.
4th Evaluator: TM T
It was impressive how the evaluator made strong comments while ultimately delivering
insightful and substantive feedback.
TM S then delivered the General Evaluation and also provided feedback to each evaluator.
